“the shaman knows that there is a sea of consciousness, that is universal, even though we each perceive it from our own shores, awareness and a world that we all share, that can be experienced by every living being, yet is self, seen by any. and the shaman is master of this world. he lives with one foot in this world, and one foot in the world of spirit”
in the ‘harmony rites’ we receive ‘seeds’ of certain archetypes in our first 7 major energy centres. we receive them like seeds/eggs that we can grow as we work with them…..at the same time these connections to these energies are already there….this rite enhances and strengthens connection that is already there, often giving it a form our mind can understand clearly to help us on our way, like ‘power animals’, which don jicaram describes as:
“energies of nature, elemental spirits, that we personify as animals. i like to think of them more as a merging of you and a force in nature. a manifestation of archetypical energy in space. primitive consciousness personifies them as animals, and they assume that form when we connect with them. that is a good theory, at least”
these archetypical energies are represented by the animals and three other archetypical guide energies….when working with them, connecting with these energies within us, we soon find out what they represent…. and a guide what these are felt to represent are here : archetypes these archetypical energies are essentially the same given in the munay ki as in the traditional rites, in the traditional rites they are known as the ayni karpay rites, and quechua words are often used too, but essentially are the same rites, the same connections to these archetypical energies.
on the course, we call them archetypes, which does to a point, describe what they are, embodiments of specific qualities of these archetypes…that are within us as well as being in our outer worlds….
in the base energy centre (chakra/nawi), seeds of the serpent, the snake are sown,
In the throat level energy centre, the gatekeeper, and guide of the annwfn…the ‘innerworld’.
in the ‘third eye’ energy centre, we are gifted the energies/archetype/connection to a guide of this present world of the now..
in the ‘crown’ energy centre, connection with the gatekeeper and guide of our upperworld is given…
…when we journey to these worlds, we can meet these guides, and are a great gift to be able to work with their energies too. the animal archetypes –
the serpent, jaguar, hummingbird and eagle, are also called upon when we call in the directions, and open sacred space, and they are also used for ‘tracking’ in sessions and workshops (ways of picking up information)
in ‘the archetypes’ sub-menu is some of the associations, representations, and qualities that you may find these archetypes represent and embody. from these descriptions, it is understandable why the human mind sees these energies as these kinds of animals.
In the ‘working wth the archetypes’ sub-menu there are examples of ways of working with these energies.
